Everyone’s favorite teacher and internet personality, Khan Sir, made his first public appearance alongside his wife, AS Khan, at a grand reception in Patna.
Khan Sir is one of the most beloved teachers in the country. Lately, he has gained public and media attention for his marriage. Khan Sir, whose real name is reportedly Faizal Khan, hosted an extravagant welcome celebration in Patna on June 2, 2025.
Khan Sir is a popular teacher and content creator from Bihar who is known for providing coaching assistance to students for competitive exams at a low cost. He runs the ‘Khan GS Research Center’, a tutoring center, and the same-named YouTube channel. With over 24 million followers, his channel features instructive videos about politics, current events, and mathematics.
Reportedly, Khan Sir got married in a private ceremony between May 6 and May 10. He disclosed this in front of his students during his live class. He held the reception party in Patna, where he made a public appearance with his wife and was attended by 5,000 guests. His wife, introduced as AS Khan, was seen covering her head with a red veil.
For the reception, a red lehenga was donned by the beautiful bride, paired with a green-hued dupatta and another red dupatta that covered her face. However, the adorable smile was seen peeking through the ghunghat, winning over the netizens.
In his live video with his students, he stated that “Meri shaadi ki tareekh tay ho gayi thi. Isi dauraan Pakistan aur Bharat ke beech yudh shuru ho gaya, jis kaaran saade tareeke se shaadi ki gayi. Mere chhote bhaiyon ne maa se keh kar meri shaadi kara di aur maa ki baat taali nahi ja sakti thi.”
In the live session with his students, Khan Sir said that “I have told you all first because my existence is thanks to all of you. After the reception on June 2, I will be hosting a special wedding feast for all my students on June 6.”
Meet AS Khan, Khan Sir’s Wife Background
AS Khan is reported to be a government official affiliated with Jhagrahawa Bar in Siwan, Bihar, where Khan Sir’s maternal family home is also situated. It is also speculated that AS Khan is a distant relative of Khan Sir, and this marriage is arranged by their families.
Similar to Khan Sir, AS Khan is also highly educated, and has reportedly completed her schooling at an Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ISCE) certified school and pursued further studies, but the stream is still unknown.
The event was featured by prominent figures from across the country, including Bihar’s Governor, Arif Mohammad Khan, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, Leader of the Opposition Tejashwi Yadav, Education Minister Sunil Kumar, and Minister of Industries and Tourism Nitish Mishra, among others. In addition, a special reception for the students will be organized by the educator on June 6, 2025.
